Love begins by taking care of the closest ones – the ones at home.

Benjamin Franklin

Nothing can bring a real sense of security into the home except true love.

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

There is nothing like staying at home for real comfort.
Jane Austen

Where thou art, that is home.
Emily Dickinson

I saved my favorite quote, the best one, for last.  Home truly is where my heart is, where my true love lives, and where I am most at peace.  It does not have a single address; in fact, in the 20 years I’ve been with my true love, we have had 9 different addresses.  It is not defined by a style or design of architecture; those 9 houses have ranged from a trailer home to a tiny rental, from 1950’s campus living to shockingly pink brick, and from new speck to new custom.  There is not one single favorite; we have made the best memories at every single stop along the way.

This home (page) is an entry, a doorway into our life, a football coach and the wife who cherishes him.  It’s a glimpse of our modern day fairy tale…one adventure at a time.
