I’m a nervous wreck putting her out there for the public to purchase, but I am also very proud to have this beautiful creation finished and photographed and listed for sale.

This quilt is named for Ms. Brenda Shreve of Red Barn Quilting in Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Brenda is a dear friend to Quilt 2 End ALZ, Inc. and donated the four purple and lilac log cabin blocks which were made from our 2019 TLD Pattern Kit.
At the heart of each log cabin, set proudly in the middle of the quilt, and serving as sashing cornerstones are our Q2EA signature flowers.
Just outside the sashing is a 4-piece border cut in a Fibonacci sequence of 1-inch, 2-inch, 3-inch, and 5-inch widths which create a bold, eye-pleasing frame around the pieced center.
The lilacs, purples, tans, golds, and black are a stunning display of colors and patterns.
The lilac on white floral print in the second border is also the backing fabric; the gold butterly on pale purple print in the third border is used for the binding. Dark purple thread quilted in a circular pattern is the perfect balance with the straight lines of the quilt design.
Machine pieced and quilted; binding hand finished; quilt has been washed and colors set.
