Frilly Fried Squash
- 4-6 Zucchini Squash
- 8-10 Yellow Squash
- Large White Onion
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- Large Skillet
- Grapeseed Oil
- Chop all the Squash and Onion.
- Heat Grapeseed Oil in pan over medium heat.
- Mix all ingredients in pan, seasoning as desired.
- Cook uncovered over medium heat until veggies are soft and there is a nice amount of crispy “burn” throughout (the burn spots are the very best – trust me – Coach and I fight over these little bits and chunks!).
NOTE: I call this “Frilly” because I use special oil (Grapeseed) and sugar to give it a buttery, yummy taste that is a little reminiscent of high-maintenance girly-ness, but it’s soooooo worth it in the end.
